| Welcome to the Spring edition of Luxury Hospitality Magazine. In this issue we bring you all the details from our stay at Movenpick Hotel, Jumeirah Beach. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this luxurious hotel, wonderfully situated in Dubai’s “The Walk”. Many thanks to our hosts for a tremendous stay and for their outstanding hospitality! We also visited the marvellous Corner House restaurant in Canterbury, where we were served the most delectable dishes from a very eclectic menu. You can read more about our visit on page 12. The past few weeks have bought us the announcement that Edwardian Hotels London are removing plastic straws from their hotels, they join a growing list of hotels and restaurants that are phasing out plastic straws. With an estimated 500 million plastic straws being used worldwide, it is pleasing to see the UK taking steps to become more eco-friendly with the readily available alternatives. We also bring you the latest news on openings including the Fayre Share, a new restaurant opening in Victoria Park Village, East London. The family style restaurant is being launched by founders Mark Bloom and Barry Myers who have created an interesting concept of a sharing menu, dishing up British classics for 1, 2 or 4 people to share at the table. The creative restaurateurs are trying to encourage traditional family meals in the fast-paced lifestyle we live.
