Jon Watts’ journey is as inspiring as it is unconventional. Once facing a six-and-a-half-year sentence in a young offenders’ institute, he chose to break the cycle of reoffending by immersing himself in personal development. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for cooking, becoming the first person in custody to achieve all three Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Upon release, Watts launched his professional career at one of Jamie Oliver’s restaurants before building a platform as a recipe creator, media personality, and author. His debut book, Speedy Weeknight Meals (Bloomsbury), went straight to No.1 in The Sunday Times bestsellers list.
