Farm Girl’s first all-day restaurant & bar to open February 2018 in Chelsea

Acclaimed Notting Hill café Farm Girl is coming to Chelsea in the New Year with their first all-day restaurant and bar. Opening February 2018, expect signature brunch dishes alongside, for the first time, a dinner menu and cocktail bar. This new venture follows the success of Farm Girl’s first site in Notting Hill and the concession within the Sweaty Betty Carnaby Street flagship store.

Diners can expect an Australian-inspired menu, guided by seasonal produce that underline their ‘farm-to-table’ approach. Classic Farm Girl brunch dishes include signature Smoothie Bowls; Oven Baked Aubergine; and the legendary BLT made with coconut bacon, plus some new additions exclusive to Chelsea. The dinner menu will feature more substantial dishes such as Cod Croquettes with a Green Herb Sauce; and Lamb Gyro with Roasted Pistachio Yoghurt and a Heritage Tomato Salad. Their first regularly changing house dessert will be an Apple & Pear Crumble for the winter months.

After-work drinks and night-caps will be available from the bar, for which a new cocktail menu will be created by Gianfranco Spada (previously Experimental Cocktail Club and Chess Club). Think Superfood Cocktails using Strawberry and Lavender infused FAIR Vodka, alongside biodynamic wines.

Menus are created by Executive Chef Benoit Marmoiton, whose experience ranges from cooking at Michelin starred restaurants across Paris, San Francisco, and London, to private cheffing for high profile individuals. Creative consultant Micaela Phillippo, who previously helped curate menus at Pachamama, believes “Modern Australian dining pulls influence from many different regions meaning we can look to Europe, the Levant, India and South-East Asia for inspiration”.

A beautifully crafted Super Latte collection (often seen on their hugely popular Instagram feed) returns with the eye-catching Butterfly Matcha Latte (made using Matcha Blue powder, exclusive to Farm Girl in London) and a Liquid Gold (Turmeric, Cinnamon, Astragalus, Honey and Coconut Milk), while fresh smoothies and juices will also be available.

Located on Park Walk, off Fulham Road, this new addition to the Farm Girl family will be the largest of the three, seating up to 90 guests, along with alfresco dining terrace.

With design notes linking back to the original café, key features include eye-catching green leather seating and a pink marble-top cocktail bar at the entrance, as well as red-striped banquettes. Illuminated arches will light up the back of restaurant and sleek white diamond tiles will adorn the walls, with further lighting debuting Beata’s Dodo Egg light designs. Beata plans for “the interiors to catch people by surprise and create a completely unique space; it has a hint of the fantastical where interesting and varied surfaces, textures and colours contribute to an otherworldly, sensory experience.”

Farm Girl is the creation of young entrepreneurial couple Rose Mann and Anthony Hood who aim to share their passion for healthy living and travel with their guests. Rose’s love of the outdoors comes from a childhood spent on a farm outside Melbourne, whilst Anthony grew up in the fresh mountain air of Switzerland.
