HiJiffy won World Tourism Award
HiJiffy has won the most innovative solution award of 2020, after being selected from around 5000 applications from 150 countries. The award was presented this afternoon in Madrid by the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili.

For the second consecutive year, the World Tourism Organization (WTO) launched the largest global competition for tourism startups, with the support of Wakalua. This contest is part of several WTO initiatives to promote a more competitive and sustainable tourism sector. This competition opened an invitation to startups from around the world to show how they are bringing innovation to the tourism sector. Among 5000 applications, the 16 main selected startups presented their ideas live with awards in the categories of Smart Mobility, Disruptive Hospitality, Innovative Tourism Solutions, Deep Tech, Rural Development Smart Destinations and also UNWTO Special Award for Sustainability.
