Hilton London Hyde Park: A New Boutique Edwardian Charm

Hilton London Hyde Park fully completes its £5.4 million refurbishment this month. The work included a full revamp of meeting space, common areas and guest rooms. The number of rooms offered by the hotel has increased and there has been extensive restaurant expansion.

All 132 bedrooms have been transformed into contemporary spaces with a classic twist, keeping in line with the rich history of the Grade II listed Edwardian building to cover the needs of the modern traveller. The plan also involved adding a new room type for families to reflect the increase of guests coming to visit London for leisure, looking for more space and comfort. The four new rooms are built so they can be accessed via a private door on a floor of their own and can be hired exclusively for larger groups, giving guests the comfort, personalisation and flexibility they need.

Harun Dagli, hotel manager, Hilton London Hyde Park, said,“The entire team is thrilled to be welcoming guests into our completely renovated hotel. We have always listened to our loyal guests and what they loved about staying with us and we learned that Hilton London Hyde Park is a top choice for visitors to London because of its iconic location, breath-taking views of Britain’s most famous park and its historic charm.”

“We have delivered an intimate hotel which oozes boutique charm and elegance, keeping the modern traveller in mind, giving them the technology, flexibility, personalisation and convenience of their stay that they need.”

The hotel also redesigned its restaurant space and turned what used to be tanning studio and hairdresser into Aubaine Restaurant, offering alfresco dining. The outlet which previously accommodated only 75 diners, now can welcome up to 175 guests who can enjoy high quality French food, Boulangarie and freshly baked pastries and cakes from the Patisserie.

Situated in the heart of London, Hilton London Hyde Park is on the doorstep of many business and leisure locations. The hotel is adjacent to two underground stations, connecting with three major London tube lines and multiple bus links, meaning London’s key destinations are within 20 minutes travel. Guests can enjoy the proximity of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens for a memorable day in the open as well as some vintage shopping around the well-known Portobello Market in Notting Hill.
