Refreshed and revitalised Courtyard Hotel Rosebank reopens
City Lodge Hotel Group is delighted to announce that the stylish Courtyard Hotel Rosebank just off Oxford Road has been refurbished and reopened. See below and attached for details, plus photos (available in high resolution upon request).
Courtyard Hotel Rosebank has refurbished its bedrooms and reopened at the beginning of the year to accommodate its first group of guests since its temporary suspension of services at the start of lockdown. With fresh furniture, furnishings and air-conditioning units, the hotel is keen to welcome back guests.
The 83-room Courtyard Hotel Rosebank is located in a trendy business and leisure neighbourhood of Johannesburg’s northern suburbs, directly opposite the Gautrain Rosebank Station. Guests have easy access to a string of interleading malls and outdoor spaces consisting of The Zone @ Rosebank, Rosebank Mall, The Firs of Rosebank, Rosebank Art and Crafts Market, plus the hugely popular Rosebank Sunday Market, a vibrant fleamarket that takes place on the rooftop of Rosebank Mall every Sunday. These major attractions ensure the area has a wide range of entertainment and retail options.
Red brick buildings coupled with classic, elegant décor offer guests a tranquil ambience. The hotel has a choice of studio, one- and two-bedroom units and offers conference facilities for up to 40 people usually and 20 during lockdown, and an eight-seater boardroom that can now accommodate four people socially distanced. The grounds include a swimming pool surrounded by gardens. The restaurant and Club Lounge ensure all meals are comfortably catered for on site. As with all City Lodge Hotel Group properties, free fast and reliable WiFi is offered as well as laundry services and secure parking.
Rooms feature a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and coffee machine (personal shopping service is offered); iron and ironing board; large electronic safe; TV with selected DStv channels and radio stations; and private access. Selected rooms designed for the physically disabled.
Lindiwe Sangweni-Siddo, chief operating officer at City Lodge Hotel Group, says, “As we reopen our hotels in a phased approach based on demand, we are keen to ensure returning business and leisure guests are offered a wow experience. Courtyard Hotel Rosebank’s refreshing of the rooms will be well-received by our regulars as well as new guests. With the hotel appealing to long- and short-stay travellers, it’s important to offer a pristine product. We have done a lot of work on enhancing the Courtyard Hotel brand offering prior to Covid-19 pandemic and resulting lockdown, and this refurbishment ensures this property, ideally located in the heart of the Rosebank business and leisure node, remains a competitive, affordably priced accommodation option.”
Courtyard Hotel Rosebank is designed in such a way that guests are able to access their rooms directly from outside and do not have to pass through the relatively confined indoor spaces such as shared lobby or corridors, making it ideal for social distancing.
Guests may be reassured that they will continue to stay safe at any City Lodge Hotel Group property. Comprehensive and internationally recognised Covid-19 hygiene and safety protocols are carried out across all hotels, including all areas accessed by guests and staff at the front and back of house. A summary of the protocols, including what guests need to know prior to entering the hotel, is provided on the website www.clhg.com.
