Top chef turns Italian for two nights only

Don Giovanni's

Manchester’s longest standing Italian restaurant, Don Giovanni, has teamed up with acclaimed chef Robert Owen Brown to host two exclusive nights of dining delights.

Taking over the private dining room in Don Giovanni, on 27th and 28th April, Robert and his team will be serving up a five-course menu with an Italian twist to 30 foodies each night.

From hand dived scallops with Morecombe Bay shrimp tortellini, to thyme smoked rabbit, customers will be treated to a unique menu of culinary delights from starters to cheeseboard, and with a fish course, main course and dessert thrown in too, there’s plenty to taste.

Adam Karim, Owner of Don Giovanni, said “We wanted to give an extra dimension to the restaurant, with a different experience for customers, but still with our Don Giovanni style, and that’s where using the private dining area came in. Rob’s ideas fitted perfectly with what we had in mind, so for us this is the perfect partnership and we hope the customers enjoy it.”

Robert Owen Brown said “The space in Don Giovanni is perfect for this unique experience. I lived in Italy for a short time and have always loved the cuisine, so this sounded like a great opportunity. I really enjoyed creating this menu and am looking forward to cooking it for the customers later this month!”

Tickets cost £45 and include five courses with wine pairings with each course. They are on sale now for both Wednesday 27th April and Thursday 28th April.
