Acclaimed chef James Knappett, of Kitchen Table in Fitzrovia, is teaming up with Chef Michael Wignall and his team at The Angel in Hetton, North Yorkshire, for an exclusive one-night-only dinner on Monday 26th June 2023.
With an impressive culinary background, James Knappett has earned two Michelin stars at his restaurant, Kitchen Table, which recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary. The intimate dining experience encourages full interaction with the chefs and showcases James’ deep appreciation for seasonal British produce through the daily-changing tasting menu.
Michael Wignall, an esteemed figure in the industry, opened The Angel in 2018 – one of the oldest gastropubs in the country. His ever-evolving style sees him create unique dishes full of flavour, and he describes his food as ‘modern, technical and meaningful’.
The collaborative menu, meticulously crafted by Knappett and Wignall, promises a gastronomic journey, highlighting the best of their respective restaurants. Championing seasonality, the best of British ingredients and both chefs’ cooking styles, guests can expect an 11-course tasting menu featuring the dishes below:
