RH London, The Gallery in Mayfair
RH London, The Gallery in Mayfair is now officially open, marking RH’s first-of-its-kind design and hospitality destination. Housed within the landmark 18th-century Palladian mansion Uxbridge House, the property has been meticulously restored and reimagined by RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman in collaboration with Foster + Partners.
Spanning five floors and more than 5,000 square metres, the Gallery seamlessly blends luxury home furnishings, rare art and antiques, and a collection of distinctive hospitality experiences. Highlights include a Wine Bar and Tea Salon sheathed in Bronze Amani Spanish marble, serving specialty teas and exceptional champagnes and wines from around the world, centred around a dramatic transparent lift by Foster + Partners.
Continuing past the lift, guests will discover the luminous Dining Room – previously the Banking Hall – overlooking Savile Row, a luminous 136-seat restaurant featuring soaring Roman columns, a gold-leaf ceiling and hand-blown Venetian glass chandeliers, serving RH classics such RH Burger, Lobster Roll and Charred Wagyu Ribeye, alongside global favourites such as Chinese Chicken Salad and Whole Grilled Branzino.
On Level Two, designer Anouska Hempel has created The Perch Bar and Restaurant and The World of RH Lounge, a hidden rooftop sanctuary. The aviary-inspired Perch Bar opens onto a lush garden terrace defined by smoked glass, black marble, sculptural birdcages and verdant planting. The romantic maximalism of the Perch Restaurant offering a private dining experience, takes the form of a secret eden inspired by the world’s most magnificent gardens, grand glass birdcages recalling 16th century ottoman architect Mimar Sinan’s weightless imperial domes.
Completing the experience, the Wine Bar & Tea Salon is wrapped in bronze Amani marble and centred around a dramatic transparent lift by Foster + Partners, offering specialty teas, exceptional champagnes and rare wines to enjoy throughout the gallery.
