Andi’s WADADLI Kitchen meets Fred Sirieix in a month-long pop-up
From 20th August, close friends Fred and Andi will be bringing real Caribbean home cooking (with some
Sirieix family favourites!) to a month-long residency.
In the beauEful and unique surroundings of Clapton Country Club, ONE LOVE will bring great quality, “insanely delicious” food with wonderful music and much-needed good vibes.
Andi’s Wadadli Kitchen is real Caribbean home cooking. Food from the heart of all the islands, from AnEgua to St Lucia, Cuba to Jamaica, MarEnique to Guyana. The influences are broad and exciEng, packed full of flavour and deep-rolling spices. Expect dishes such as Andi’s famous chocolate curry goat and the cheesiest Wadadli mac & cheese plus BBQ Tofu made even more delicious when seared on a Weber grill. Some dishes will be given a French twist such as Plantain fried in French bu;er with lime and ginger while classic French desserts will be the perfect finish to the meal.
Fred has curated a list of affordable French wines that pair beauEfully with each dish and a concise list of rum cocktails will make delicious apériEfs. In addiEon, a special collaboraEon beer by cra[ brewers BrewDog will also be on tap with a porEon of profits being donated to the Hospitality AcEon charity. The fesEviEes don’t have to end there as pre and post-dinner guests can head to The Department of Life, a pop-up bar serving amazing cocktails for guests to enjoy and conEnue the evening. The bar itself is a sight to behold, constructed from reclaimed sustainable materials. Steel, iron, wood, slate, stone, marble, copper are interwoven with botanical treats to create a unique space to while away the evening.
For groups and gatherings, there are two beauEful private spaces that can be booked – from the mezzanine level overlooking the main room to the Opium Room, a separate space for a totally private
experience.
Now more than ever, we’re all on the lookout for delicious comfort food in amazing surroundings – and
ONE LOVE brings us just that! Feel the love!
