A live line-up to inspire

This year’s show brings together some of the industry’s most well-known names to share the secrets of their success, including PizzaExpress, itsu, Starbucks and Diageo. Plus, there’s a chance to hear from Kate Nicholls, CEO of UKHospitality on what’s next for the industry. Get inspired by the topics up for discussion including personalisation and how this enhances loyalty, the benefits of storytelling, how gamification could boost your business and what voice tech means for the industry. These are just a few of the lively sessions taking place on The Stage this year.

Sustainable hospitality in action

Sustainability has long presented both challenges and opportunities for the hospitality industry, that’s why it’s top of the agenda at The Restaurant Show 2019. You’ll find a whole host of sustainable innovations from exhibitors including JenPak Ltd’s new eco-friendly range of crockery made from Bagasse – also known as recycled sugarcane. There are reusable to go cups made from coffee waste from FSG Tableware Ltd as well as sustainable LED neon signs from SmiLED Light Ltd and many more environmentally friendly solutions to discover.

Over in Catering Equipment Expo you will be able to check out a planet-friendly product that’s been attracting plenty of industry attention – the Recycled Plastic Bottle Jackets from Continental Chef Supplies (CCS). Part of the Chefs Against Plastic Waste campaign, these high quality jackets are a must see.

This year’s show aims to be as sustainable as possible and organisers have once again partnered with FareShare – the UK’s largest food redistribution charity. The charity has been working with the food industry for more than 20 years to identify quality, in date surplus food that can be redistributed to local charities. At the end of the show FareShare will conduct a surplus food collection service for all exhibitors, preventing unnecessary food and drink going to waste, and offering all suppliers the chance to donate their excess products to feed people in need.

What is a visit to The Restaurant Show without sampling some of the finest food and drink from top suppliers? As always, the event promises plenty to try, from craft ales to coffee and everything in between, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the latest food and drink launches.
