Honi Poke Goes Full Swicy With New Summer Menu

New Swicy Prawn Bowl, crunchy tortilla chip bases and five more flavour-packed bowls land in stores this summer

This summer, Honi Poke is turning up the heat on one of the biggest food trends this year: Swicy. Combining sweet and spicy flavours with craveable crunch, Honi Poke’s new summer menu introduces six new dishes, a first-of-its-kind tortilla chip poke base and a host of new toppings.

Leading the launch is the Swicy Prawn Bowl – a fusion of flavours, which brings together the sweetness of prawns, mango and avocado, the spice of citrus masago sriracha and wasabi furikake, and the crunch of pickled red cabbage and sunomono cucumber.

Joining the line-up are five more dishes inspired by flavours from across the Pacific and East Asia:

  • Tokyo Yuzu Bowl – Inspired by the bright, fresh flavours of Japan, this vibrant bowl combines salmon, juicy mango and creamy smashed avocado with crisp pickled cucumber and Japanese cabbage salad. Finished with masago, furikake and a punchy miso yuzu dressing, it’s a refreshing balance of citrus, umami and sweetness.
  • Seoul Fire Chicken Salad – A fiery, flavour-packed salad inspired by the bold flavours of Seoul. Tender chicken is paired with crunchy vegetables, nutty super seeds and sweet teriyaki, finished with crispy onions and sesame for the perfect balance of sweet heat, freshness and texture
  • Pacific Tuna Bowl Salad – A vibrant bowl that brings together marinated tuna, sweet pineapple and punchy pickled ginger with crunchy vegetables and quinoa. Finished with masago, nori and a sesame soy dressing, it’s a fresh taste of the Pacific.
  • Citrus Yuzu Salmon Salad – Bright, fresh and packed with flavour, this bowl combines salmon, juicy mango and creamy smashed avocado with a zesty miso yuzu dressing. Finished with furikake, masago and sesame seeds, it’s a fresh new take on the classic salmon poke bowl.
  • Green Zen Tofu Salad – A vibrant plant-based bowl loaded with colour, texture and flavour. Organic tofu is paired with seaweed salad, edamame, bok choy and creamy avocado, then finished with wasabi mayo, furikake and super seeds for a fresh, satisfying kick.

For the first time ever, customers building their own poke bowls can also swap traditional grains for a crunchy tortilla chip base, bringing a whole new level of texture to the poke experience. The launch also features a range of new toppings including Crab Salad, Salmon Tartare, Swicy Prawns, Pickled Red Cabbage, Bok Choy, Masago and Furikake.

To complete the line up, Honi Poke will also be launching the viral Poppi Strawberry Lemon and Orange soda across its stores.

The new summer menu will be available across all Honi Poke London stores from 10th June and Manchester, Bristol and Leeds from 26th June.
