Kohler Co Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa open after Refurbishment

The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa has now reopened following a three-month refurbishment project, kick starting a series of upcoming developments at the hotel.

The hotel has seen 100 of its 144 bedrooms given a soft refurbishment, with the introduction of USB charging points, ergonomic outlets and closet lighting, as well as roof and window maintenance.

The Old Course Hotel, which is owned and operated by Kohler Co, has also introduced a new menu at its Road Hole Restaurant, with a selection of seafood and grill-inspired dishes that use fresh Scottish ingredients.

Talking of the changes, the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa’s general manager, Stephen Carter OBE says:Our overall aim was to respect our most iconic areas of the hotel. People visit our Resort from all over the world to experience Scottish elegance and we’ve been very careful to blend this seamlessly into the refurbished parts of the hotel.”

The refurbishment has started a series of other upcoming developments that are in the pipeline for the hotel. The projects include the launch of an elite sports facility, catering to the top sports teams in the world.

The facility will be located to the immediate North East of Winthank Farm on Kohler owned land. As well as this, the Kohler Waters Spa will be refurbished, to include a new leisure pool.

The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa has also joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts Legend Collection and will begin its partnership from April 2017.
