Lancaster London – Editor’s Review
Located adjacent to Hyde Park and a 5 minute stroll from Oxford Street, Lancaster London comprises 18 floors, 416 rooms and first class service.
Upon arrival into the vast lobby we were greeted warmly. Our check in was swift and within minutes we were shown to our suite. Our suite was spacious and offering breath taking views across London’s skyline it was hard not to be impressed. There was everything we needed and several extras including an impressive guest WC off of the lounge area. The general feel of the hotel is exquisitely simplistic yet with elegant design and décor.
The evening was spent sampling the delights of the 2 AA Rosettes restaurant, Nipa Thai. The restaurant is worth the trip to the Lancaster London in itself. Over seen by Head Chef, Sanguan Parr, the traditional menu brings many options. Attention to detail in the dishes is in abundance and flavours are authentic and delicious. The evening ended appreciating the stunning views on offer from our room over the capital.
The next morning we enjoyed a tasty and varied breakfast in the hotel’s buffet restaurant with more wonderful views over Hyde Park. The Impressive choices on offer covered Thai, traditional English breakfast as well as continental options.
Check out was again smooth and the staff was helpful and pleasant. A wonderful hotel in the heart of London and a meal at the sensational Nipa Thai when staying at the hotel is not to be missed.
