Libby Blakey Design returns to Sloane Stanley for seasonal London store

Sloane Stanley celebrates the return and opening of Libby Blakey Design, an interior and retail design specialist, at 336 Kings Road, in the heart of Chelsea until January 2022.

Libby Blakey Design specialises in providing interior design services and features a 1,298 sq ft showroom holding a wide selection of European antique furniture and decorative accessories sourced from around the world. The space also doubles as an interior store, selling beautiful curated, individual, and unique decorative objet d’art, antiques and gifts including soft furnishings, paintings, lamps, books, ceramics, and glass.

Libby Blakey has been setting the standard for superior retail and interior design across Berkshire, London, and the home counties for more than 20 years. Libby Blakey also supports endangered species, such as the Waterberg Rhino, and collections in-store are dedicated to this.

Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley commented on the new opening: “We love the creativity and unique products Libby Blakey brings to the Kings Road and are pleased to see her return again after her last successful pop-up store. The interior services and showroom complement the design-led stores and new concept restaurants alongside her within the Sloane Stanley Estate; covering the Kings Road and Fulham Road.”

Founder and Owner, Libby Blakey added: “This location feels like our second home and essentially our London flagship. We wanted to come back to the Kings Road for this very important Christmas period as our store and showroom both performed so well when we were here last. Our products and materials from around the world, offer something that is one-off and cannot be sourced anywhere else.”

This news coincides with the opening of Eclectic Gallery’s two-week pop-up exhibition on 340 King’s Road. Eclectic Gallery specialises in contemporary art and works closely with both emerging and well-established international artists, offering them an opportunity to display their work in a well-located gallery and making their art accessible to a wider public. In residence until November 30 and spanning two floors, the 1,178 sq ft pop-up exhibition displays a selection of pieces from renowned artists located all over the world, including Spain, Argentina, South Korea and United Kingdom to name a few.

Eclectic Gallery and Libby Blakey Design join luxury kitchen brand, Poggenpohl, who have recently signed for their new London flagship on 265-267 Fulham Road.
