London Marriott Hotel Regents Park announces multi-million-pound renovation

The London Marriott Hotel Regents Park has announced the final phase of its multi-million pound investment programme, which will see its bedrooms transformed to align with the newly renovated lobby, executive lounge and meetings and events space.
The popular business and leisure hotel recently began its extensive bedroom refurbishment in partnership with Anita Rosato Interior Designs, and is due for completion at the end of July 2017.
With the introduction of seven new rooms, and Apple TV, international power outlets and walk-in raindance showers, the investment will see changes to both the configuration and interior design with local London and neighbouring villages and parks used as inspiration behind the design.
As part of the refurbishment, the hotel’s new meetings and events space will be reimagined by 30 September 2016, designed by award-winning firm ICA. The renovation will include the introduction of engaging technology and flexible working environments that inspire collaboration and creative solutions for corporate delegates.
An additional four meeting rooms are being added to the existing lobby level space and the hotel’s largest event space, Primrose Hill, will be transformed to introduce natural daylight into the contemporary and stylish design. The room will offer a capacity of up to 300 people, equipped with innovative technology, such as remote-control projectors and screens, as well as an integrated sound and PA system.
Dedicated zones in the newly renovated lobby provide space for guests to unwind, socialise and connect, while the first hotel-based Carluccio’s restaurant also recently opened on the lobby level with a bar and outdoor terrace.
Speaking about the refurbishment, General Manager, Tony Owen, said: “This is a really exciting development for the hotel and we can’t wait to show our guests the new bedrooms and events space.
“The needs of the modern traveller are changing and we wanted to ensure that our offering fell in line with these demands. With constant adaptations to technology and the increasing importance of wellness, it’s paramount that we deliver the very best experience and this investment is part of a wider commitment to provide guests with a contemporary, inspiring and accommodating stay.”
