London’s Soho Sanctum hotel rebrands as The Karma Soho Sanctum

The Soho Sanctum hotel has rebranded as the The Karma Soho Sanctum, following a merger with international travel group, Karma.

The property is the first London hotel in Karma Group’s portfolio. It recently launched Karma St. Martin’s in the Isles Of Sicily.

Karma Group hopes to open a series of luxury rock-themed hotels across the globe with this merger.

Recently named the UK’s ‘Boutique Hotel Of The Year’ and awarded the ‘2017 Experts’ Choice Award’, the new partnership will see an opening of a new restaurant and members’ club.

Karma Sanctum Club will offer priority bookings, VIP benefits and discounted rates at the hotel and all of the international Karma Sanctum Hotels. The Wild Heart restaurant is due to open in the summer.

John Spence, founder and chairman of Karma Group, said he was “delighted” that there will “soon be a Karma sign” above a West End hotel.

Mark Fuller, CEO of The Sanctum Hospitality Group, added: “This is a really great move for us and we’re delighted to be partnering with John and his team. We share the same vision; creating a unique luxury travel experience with a twist of rock.

“We’re making changes to the London hotel and have secured several sites internationally. We’re all investing a lot into this merge and are excited for the future.”
