NH Hotel Group recognised with 15 awards in the prestigious Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2020

  • The Group’s NH Collection brand has been recognised with seven of the highly respected awards whilst a further eight properties operated by the Group have also been awarded.
  • A total of 49 properties from Minor Hotels, which the NH Hotel Group is part of, have been recognised worldwide.

NH Hotel Group has been recognised with 15 awards at the esteemed Readers’ Choice Awards 2020 from Condé Nast Traveler magazine. The annual awards value the excellence of the world’s most luxurious hotels according to ratings from more than 715,000 of its readers.

All of the Group’s recognised properties are located in Europe, with seven belonging to the upper-upscale NH Collection brand, a further six to the Tivoli brand and one each to the Anantara and Avani brands.

“The results of this year’s survey, conducted at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, are testament to the lasting power of a meaningful travel experience” said Jesse Ashlock, U.S Editor of Condé Nast Traveler “The winners represent the best of the best for our audience and offer plenty of trip-planning inspiration for all the adventures we can’t wait to have next.”

Amongst the hotels featured in the Spain and Portugal top 20 are the Tivoli Palácio de Seteais Sintra in 5th place, Avani Avenida Liberdade Lisbon in 9th, Tivoli Oriente Lisboa in 10th, NH Collection Madrid Palacio de Tepa in 12th, Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisbon in 15th and Tivoli Sintra in 20th place.

In Northern Europe, the NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky was ranked 6th and the NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace 15th. The NH Collection Prague Carlo IV* ranks 9th among the best hotels in central Europe.

In Italy, the NH Collection Roma Centro hotel ranks 9th among the best in Rome. In Venice, the NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi* property is ranked 4th while NH Collection Venezia Palazzo Barocci is ranked 9th.

Finally, in the category of best resorts in Europe, the Tivoli Lagos Algarve Resort was recognized in 16th place, Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort in 21st and Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort in 25th.
