Ritz London named best hotel in Europe for second year running
The Ritz London has once again been hailed the best hotel in Europe at the annual Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards (ULTRAs).
It is the second consecutive year that the property has received the accolade, which is voted for by the readers of the Daily Telegraph’s Ultratravel magazine.
The luxury hotel was named runner-up in the race for the best hotel in the world title, losing to the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai.
Princess Eugenie of York presented the award to the Ritz.
Sal Gowili, general manager, said: “We are extremely proud and honoured to have been awarded the highest of accolades by Ultratravel’s discerning, experienced and well-travelled readers.
“This award is recognition of the team’s continued commitment to offering the very best levels of service and luxury to every Ritz guest.”
