Selin Kiazim’s first restaurant Oklava comes to Shoreditch
Since leaving Kopapa, Selin Kiazim has become a bigger and bigger name with a series of very successful supperclubs while searching for a place of her own. Now she’s found it and is getting ready to settle down in Shoreditch with Oklava.
Her new place focuses on the Turkish cooking that has been so popular at her events and has designed to reflect her “bustling eating times as a child.” The menu will be changing regularly, but planned for the menu so far are: House-made bread & Medjool date butter, Çemen glazed lamb cutlets, Whole lemon sole with charred shallot, parsley and pomegranate dressing, Pistachio sponge, caramelised white chocolate, barbeque quince and filo shards.
