Tewinbury Farm Strengthens its Luxury Offering with Wellness Concept Farm Club
Tewinbury Farm Hotel, the 700-acre family run working farm and luxury hospitality destination, is expanding its premium leisure proposition with the launch of Farm Club – a new concept designed to integrate fitness, wellbeing, hospitality and flexible working within a single countryside destination.
Opening on 15 June, Farm Club represents a significant investment in Tewinbury’s wider destination strategy, combining a functional fitness gym and outdoor training yard, a reformer Pilates studio, and sauna and ice therapy facilities. Developed in partnership with leading specialist operators in the wellness sector, Farm Club strengthens Tewinbury’s positioning as a hybrid lifestyle destination, appealing to both leisure guests and the growing corporate wellness and retreat market.
Strategic Partnerships
At the centre of the fitness offering is Farm Fitness, founded by Tom Kemp, which originated on a working farm in Essex with a focus on outdoor, functional training. Its expansion to Tewinbury marks its second site and a key step in scaling its unique fitness model within a premium hospitality environment.
The 3,700 sq ft indoor and outdoor training space integrates strongman-style training, functional fitness and conditioning, delivering a programme built around natural movement and accessible performance training.
Key classes include:
- Farm Fit: Functional movement and metabolic conditioning to improve strength and endurance
- Yard Work: Outdoor full-body training in an immersive farmyard setting
- Function: Hybrid strength and physique development training
- Engine: Short-form cardio sessions focused on aerobic performance
Complementing this is Studio 281, founded by Georgia Testa and her mother in 2017, which brings its established reformer Pilates brand to Hertfordshire. The studio features nine reformer beds and delivers small-group classes designed to support precision instruction, recovery and mobility-focused training.
The wellness offering is completed by sauna and ice therapy facilities, including four ice baths and a large wood-fired sauna, designed to support recovery, reduce inflammation and enhance overall wellbeing, aligning with growing consumer demand for evidence-led recovery experiences.
Farm Club also introduces the Farm Club Hub, designed for regular visitors looking to fully immerse themselves in the Tewinbury lifestyle. Members benefit from exclusive access to The Stable, a dedicated members’ space, alongside a curated calendar of experiences including art tours, wine tastings and seasonal festivals. Preferential bedroom rates also make it easier to extend a day visit into a countryside stay.

Memberships
Membership options are offered per discipline or as combined packages, with prices starting from £90 per month, providing flexibility for both local users and destination members. Hotel guests will also benefit from complimentary access to the open gym, with classes and specialist sessions available on a pay-per-use basis.
