With thousands of hospitality professionals already registered, and over fifty live demo sessions across five theatres hosting sixty-plus speakers, this year’s edition is ready to provide a blast of momentum for the industry.

Chef Live:
Demonstrating signature dishes and ground-breaking techniques, Chef Live is designed to inspire an audience of ambitious Northern chefs, restaurateurs, and operators, with ideas and innovation to take back to their own kitchens.
The 2023 line-up includes the likes of Stosie Madi from The Parkers Arms, Lancashire, crowned Gastropub of the Year 2023, Paul Leonard from Michelin starred The Forest Side, Cumbria and Tom Reeves from Michelin starred Rogan & Co, Cumbria.
Industry legend Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL from Café Spice Namasté and a Million Pound Menu winner, Jay Morjaria from Dynasty Restaurants will also be taking to the stage showcasing Indian and Korean food respectively.
Elsewhere in the line-up include Manchester-based chefs Danielle Heron from OSMA, Joe Otway from Flawd/Higher Ground, Mary-Ellen McTague from Treehouse Manchester, and Sam Grainger from Belzan.
Liz Cottam from Home, Yorkshire, Luke Payne from The Pack Horse, Derbyshire – number 18 in the Top 50 Gastropubs 2023, and Aiden Byrne from The Church Green, Cheshire have also been announced and will be demonstrating their unique skills in the kitchen.
Drinks Live:
Tutored tastings and spirit masterclasses from some of the top names in the spirits industry including Rhum J.M., Rémy Cointreau and Metaxa.
Market Kitchen:
Take your menu to the next level and be inspired by cooking demonstrations from experts in nose to tail butchery, patisserie, foraged ingredients, fermented foods, and seasonal produce.
Grape & Grain:
Wine, beer and cider tastings led by industry experts including exploration in areas such as alternative format wines, the role of draft alcohol free beer, how to pitch sake to customers, and the next growth phase of craft beer.
NRB Hub:
Visit the NRB Hub for insightful sessions throughout the two days including data insights from CGA by NielsenIQ into how the Northern hospitality industry is faring, looking at how technology can help restaurants navigate economic uncertainty with Uber Eats, asking the question ‘do restaurants have an age limit’ with KAM, as well as a get together with the biggest hospitality recruitment campaign – Hospitality Rising.

Bruntwood NRB Debate
Debate Headliner Kate Nicholls OBE, CEO of UKHospitality will be discussing the challenges and opportunities the industry faces in 2023 and beyond. Whilst panel chair Lucy Noone Blake, Founder of Pear, will be leading a discussion in “Getting Ready for Growth” with a panel of four industry operators, Laura Harper-Hinton from Caravan Restaurants, Matt Snell from Gusto Italian, Marko Husak from Bundobust and Edtya Stec from GAIL’S. Kuits NRB Top Fifty
The Kuits NRB Top Fifty returns for its tenth edition. It will again recognise fifty top hospitality operators who have excelled both commercially and critically over the past twelve months. Three special achievement trophies will be awarded, and the full top fifty power list unveiled at the show.
