Bonnie and Clyde – The Musical Review
A musical triumph
This is an imaginative thrilling musical following the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow from their initial meeting, with both showing a clear desire for fame and fortune, to their downward spiral on the run.
Lyricist Don Black and writer Ivan Manchell’s spin on the story of the passionate, criminal couple during the time of the great depression, tells an entertaining, but not necessarily historically accurate tale.
Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage’s portrayal of the infamous duo brings a polished performance with sexual chemistry and powerful voices.
The show is in its second run after a brief stint at the Arts Theatre last year and this limited run is sure to be a popular sell out.
