Carluccio’s seeks franchise partners for 2020 expansion
Carluccio’s has announced its plans to seek strategic franchise partners to support further expansion into travel/airport markets and within the Republic of Ireland.
Mark Jones, Carluccio’s CEO said: “We have identified potential franchisee partners to assist us in opening in airports and travel hubs as well as in Ireland. We currently operate two successful restaurants in Dublin, but believe there is room for up to 10 across the country in cities including Cork and Limerick as well as additional sites in Dublin. Carluccio’s all-day trading format performs particularly well in our travel locations such as London Heathrow Terminal 5, King’s Cross St Pancras, Waterloo, Manchester Piccadily and Birmingham Grand Central stations, and there is scope to grow that faster. We believe that is best done with partners that specialise in these environments.”
New partner sites will take the new ‘Fresca’ format, with updated interiors and an evolved menu, as seen in the recently refurbished London Heathrow Terminal 5 landside site as well as Carluccio’s restaurants in Richmond, Canary Wharf and Bluewater Shopping Centre.
Carluccio’s expects to choose its franchise partners early in 2020.
