Cult Hotels- A new way to stay

This summer will see Cheltenham welcome a brand-new hotel concept focusing on a contactless guest experience. Cult Hotels is the brainchild of Julian Dunkerton, co-founder of fashion giant Superdry and the highly successful Cotswold’s hotel and restaurant portfolio – The Lucky Onion. Cult is one of the first hotels to take on social distancing concept in the UK due to Covid19.

The George is the very first and flagship hotel by Cult Hotels made up of five beautifully refurbished Grade II listed Regency townhouses with 46 bedrooms. The original features cleverly weaved in with modern touches.

With well-considered practical elements such automated check ins, this hotel will focus on being contactless with as few touch points as possible for guests. With a well-stocked Pantry for guests to visit at any time day and night, Cult Hotels will be tapping into the clued-up urban crowd who value design and exploration.

The hotel concept has been delivered by the Lucky Onion Group, a premium collection of classic yet contemporary hotels, bars and restaurants spread across Cheltenham and the Cotswolds which reopened this summer. The properties boast beautifully landscaped gardens and terraces which are the perfect way to drink and dine at a responsible distance while remaining relaxed and at ease.

The hotels are offering exciting bespoke ‘lucky offers’ for weeklong and weekend staycations at all of their newly re-opened hotels. With exciting getaway experiences, exclusive drinks and dining for the perfect hideaway holiday. The Wheatsheaf Inn and No.38 The Park both offer dog friendly bedrooms while No.131 The Promenade offers 36 uniquely designed bedrooms in the centre of regency Cheltenham.
