Halloween Afternoon Tea at Roast
From 28 October – 3 November, Roast Restaurant in Borough Market will be transforming their classic afternoon tea into a spooky Halloween-inspired version. Roast will be serving the afternoon tea daily from midday – 6pm, in the light and airy restaurant which overlooks the historic market.
For just £25 per person, guests can indulge in an array of Halloween-themed sweet treats including Spiced pumpkin cake and a decadent Chocolate witch’s hat, alongside classic savoury delights such as Smoked salmon and crème fraiche and Roast beef, watercress and mustard finger sandwiches. The scones have also had a spooky Halloween makeover, infused with charcoal in honour of the season. Complementing the experience is a selection of 13 teas and infusions bursting with flavour, from apple and cranberry to Japanese sencha and organic camomile flowers. All Star Lanes Halloween Extravoganza
In celebration of the ghoul fest, All Star Lanes is launching its ‘Spooky Sips’ menu from 15th October – 3rd November. The cocktails – including the Drunken Pumpkin, Devil’s Blood and the Goblin Sour – will also be served on the brand-new shot tail menu, from which guests can order a flight of 3 cocktails in miniaturised form.
From Thursday 31st to Saturday 2nd, all sites will be hosting Halloween parties with free entry, where guests can get down with fellow devil-inspired divas to live music. Come dressed in your spooky best and use the #scarystrikes hashtag to capture you bowling while you’re there to win big prizes.
On the 2nd and 3rd November mornings, take a trip to a heavenly hell with the brand’s Bloody Brunch menu, where bottomless Bloody Marys will be added to the bowling brand’s much-loved bottomless brunch menu. Book into the Brick Lane and Manchester sites on the 2nd , and you’ll be treated to drag performances from some of the UK’s best acts.
Halloween Afternoon Tea at The Den, St Martins Lane Hotel
For a spooky twist on their classic afternoon tea, St Martins Lane have created a Halloween-themed menu, which will be served 12pm – 6pm daily in The Den from 21st October – 3rd November 2019.
Alongside savoury staples like Smoked salmon and cream cheese finger sandwiches, they’ve swapped their classic sweets for a seasonally inspired selection, including a Mango mousse filled choux bun sat on top of a sweet pastry biscuit and a Spiced apple tart with blackberry compote. All treats will be served with a steaming pot of Teapigs tea, and for a little extra indulgence guests can add a signature G&Ts or glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne. Prices start at £35 per person. The devilishly good menu can also be enjoyed for just £39 as Halloween Sundown cocktail tea from 7pm – 9pm, which replaces the tea with three sweet cocktails.
Halloween Ibiza Party at Sanderson’s Long Bar
On the spookiest day of the year, Sanderson hotel’s Long Bar is bringing the Ibiza season back to life with a massive Halloween Ibiza Party. Sanderson is inviting guests to dress up in their eeriest attire and dance the night away to some fabulous live DJs, playing the greatest hits to come out of Ibiza. Party-goers can expect a Zombie Tarot Reader, a host of mystical makeup artists and talon-manicures by luxury nail salon, House of Lady Muck.
In partnership with Bacardi, Sanderson will also offer a selection of terrifyingly good bespoke cocktails, with serves including Calle de la Flores, a twist on the Daiquiri, made of Bacardi Cuatro, Amontillado sherry, lime, orange with The Bitter Truth Pimento Dram liqueur and the Mango Ardiente containing Bacardi Carta Blanca rum, DOM Bénédictine liqueur, mango, chilli and mint. Priced at £13 each, these cocktails will be available from the Long Bar until 3rd November.
This devilishly fun evening will start at 7pm and will run until 1am. Tickets are available online.
Halloween Cocktails at Blind Spot, St Martins Lane Hotel
Celebrate Halloween in style with cocktails at the hidden speakeasy, Blind Spot at St Martins Lane. Available from 28th October – 5th November, the limited-edition serves include the Black Claw made of charcoal-infused Balvenie 12-year-old whisky, aged barrel bitters, chai tea, lemon juice and egg white, the Bleeding Orange including Ocho Blanco tequila, triple sec, lemon juice and blood orange purée and the Pop & Rye containing Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Bacardi 8-year-old rum, popcorn syrup and grapefruit bitters. Available from 5pm to 1.30am and priced at £14 each, these delectable cocktails aren’t to be missed.

It doesn’t get scarier than the The Orange American cocktail at Jason Atherton’s newly opened The Betterment, Mayfair. The politically pointed cocktail features Belvedere Vodka, Triple sec, Campari, Cocchi Americano and soda topped with a toupee of candyfloss. Priced at £10.
Enjoy the Corpse Reviver, Halloween Edition at The Blind Pig
Get ghoulish this Halloween at Jason Atherton’s award-winning Soho bar, The Blind Pig, located above Michelin-starred Social Eating House. The Corpse Reviver, Halloween Edition features gin, Triple Sec, Lillet Blanc, fresh lemon juice, absinthe and the bar’s secret blend night potion. The cocktail is priced at £11, available until the end of October.
