Knoops to open third London site on the King’s Road in March
The experts in crafted chocolate drinks are laying down roots on the famed West London stretch
Knoops are expanding their London portfolio with the exciting arrival of their third site in the capital, located on the celebrated King’s Road in West London. Opening in March, following the lifting of lockdown 3.0, Knoops will become the go-to place for expertly crafted chocolate drinks in the SW3 area.
Despite the challenges in the last year Knoops has continued to offer a takeaway service (when guidance allows), expanding their online shop, and offering a much needed pick-me-up on lockdown walks. Founder Jens Knoop has decided to continue with his expansion plans, with the opening bringing some good news (and delicious drinks) in these unprecedented times.
Like its sister sites, the King’s Road outpost will have a contemporary feel; think wooden materials, a soft colour palette, and an abundance of natural light thanks to the store front’s floor-to-ceiling windows. In store, Jens is constantly developing Knoops’ chocolate library, drawing on his love of chocolate and spending nearly a decade perfecting his beloved drinks – and he’ll bring bring Knoops’ beloved hot chocolates to King’s Road as well as chocolate shakes this summer.
On a mission to make drinking hot chocolate a real experience, Knoops is committed to providing the best possible ingredients, a range of different % chocolates and milk, resulting in a velvety smooth drink catered to customers’ varying tastes and requirements. Plus, each month Knoops will have a bespoke drink – with January’s giving a nod to veganuary – a 70% dark chocolate with Minor Figures oat milk and ginger.
For those feeling creative, the ‘Knoopology’ process allows customers to choose from around 21 different chocolates (13 of which are vegan), five different milks, and various flavour options including herbs, spice, fruits and more.
Knoops’ online shop, which delivers nationwide, is a treasure trove of delectable treats and features a variety of dark, milk, white and ruby chocolate flakes – ideal for people willing to experiment with their hot chocolates. Customers can browse a wide selection of products including single-origin chocolates from Peru, Colombia, and Venezuela as well as KeepCups and coffee.
With a chocolate shop a much-needed arrival on King’s Road, Knoops will no doubt find its voice among West London’s independent drinking and dining options.
