Moddershall Oaks Review
Moddershall Oaks is a relaxing country spa retreat in Staffordshire offering spa days, spa breaks and treatments and gourmet lakeside dining.
We had the delight of an overnight spa stay. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly in reception and relaxing and sipping cool fruit drinks within a matter of minutes. We were then shown to our wonderful, spacious room. With beautiful fabrics, tasteful décor and relaxing seating the rooms are a treat. Each room has a private patio area leading to the outdoor hot tub.
Dragging ourselves away from our room we made our way to the spa area. A wonderful pool area surrounded by relaxing chairs and upstairs contains the treatment areas. Moddershall offers an array of luxury treatments to choose from; facials, body treatments, massage and beauty treatments, promised to suit your needs. I had the pleasure of having an Elemis Facial Treatment, 55 minutes of pure pampering. Atmospheric lighting, music and professional staff all led to a delightful experience.
That evening we had dinner in the lake side view restaurant. A beautiful setting and impressive fine food result in a very satisfying, relaxing end to the day.
Waking up refreshed after a lovely sleep in our cosy room we made the most of the spa facilities before we departed. Another swim in the glorious pool and relaxing in the relaxation lounge. We also went to the tennis courts for a game surrounded by the stunning woodland.
We left feeling superb, refreshed and relaxed and would happily return.
