Sketch CEO Sinead Mallozzi announced as Hospitality Action Patron

Hospitality Action is proud to announce the appointment of Sinead Mallozzi, Chief Executive Officer of Sketch, as their newest patron. Sinead joins a list of notable advocates of the industry’s charity including Tom Kerridge, Michael Caines MBE and Principal Patron, Jason Atherton. Established in 1837, Hospitality Action has offered vital assistance to all who work or have worked within hospitality in the UK, and who find themselves in crisis.

A hugely influential industry figure, Sinead has spent her illustrious career combining her love for the arts with her natural hospitality acumen. Once London’s only female hotel manager, Sinead went on to launch the capital’s first ice rink at Somerset House, before taking the reins at the ever-relevant and evolving Sketch, Mayfair, where she has spent the last 17 years.

An active supporter of Hospitality Action – Sketch has helped raise £34,000 since adding a discretionary donation to customer bills in October 2018 – and possessing a deep understanding of employee wellbeing in the hospitality sector, Sinead is a natural fit for patronage. She says of her newly appointed title: “It’s an absolute honour to be asked to be a Hospitality Action patron and I am very proud to be a part of this very necessary and worthwhile charity.”

Mark Lewis, Chief Executive of Hospitality Action, comments: “I’m delighted to welcome Sinead as Hospitality Action’s newest patron. Sinead has been an inspirational motivator for the charity in recent times. Her team’s fundraising efforts are nothing short of amazing netting over £34,000 in customer fundraising in less than a year.

In addition, Sinead’s team have been exemplars of good practice by embracing the employee wellness opportunities provided by our Employee Assistance Programme. I am looking forward to her valuable input over the months and years ahead.”
