The Bath House

The Bath House have been making natural skincare and fragrance for over 25 years, with six of their own stores in the Lake District and North of England. This year they are relaunching their hotel and amenities collection. All the products use the same natural, vegan formulations which they have become renowned for and the two fragrances available are refreshing Bamboo & Jasmine and sophisticated Patchouli & Black Pepper.

“Supplying the hotel and hospitality sector has been an important part of our business” explains Nigel Brooks (Brand Director at the Bath House, Cumbria) ‘we’ve always made our formulations using natural, eco-certified and sustainable ingredients, but when we considered our packaging we realised we needed to make the whole of our product sustainable by replacing the bottles and jars we used with something that was not plastic.”

Bath House have just relaunched the collection and are now providing hotel amenities from washrooms and public areas, to some very exclusive hotels and special places to stay. These are available in contemporary aluminium bottles with a simple easy-to-fill system.

“We recommend using refillable bottles as the most sustainable way to service the hospitality industry, they may represent a small change to the way we all do things, but changes like this can make a big difference to the environment, something I know customers recognise and are now asking for “

Bath House also produced smaller bottles in tough pharmaceutical glass. These are larger (60ml) than most normal hotel miniatures, but as Nigel explains “we have introduced them as an alternative to the single-use plastic miniatures, the glass is tough and strong and guest will need to be a little more careful, but we believe the old style plastic miniatures really need to become a thing of the past, they are not a sustainable solution to the environmental crisis of plastic waste.” The miniatures which come with aluminium lids are all fully recyclable and can be provided as a thoughtful treat for guests to take home.

This new collection by Bath House offers quality and luxury toiletries, from a unique niche British brand, with a skill and provenance for making natural products in a truly sustainable way, such a refreshing alternative collection of fragrance and skincare is worth considering to make your guests stay a truly memorable and sensory experience.
