Bunga Bunga Covent Garden presents a Summertime Spectacular

Bunga Bunga Airways will welcome boarding from June

Kicking off from 5th June, Bunga Bunga Covent Garden promises an Italian fiesta like no other this summer as they present, the Summertime Spectacular. Heating things up for the warmer months ahead, the all-singing, all-dancing immersive drinking and dining experience that is Bunga Bunga, will welcome a brand new show running all summer long, as well as an all-new refreshing food and drink menu.

There’s no need to leave the Big Smoke this summer, as Bunga Bunga promises all the flamboyance of the Italian Riviera in the heart of Covent Garden every night from Wednesday – Saturday. Turning the venue into a summertime seaside destination, Bunga Bunga will be kitted out with all the holiday necessities – think deckchairs, beach balls, swimsuits aplenty, holiday cocktails, inflatables and parasols. As expected, guests will be dazzled with live acts, including musical numbers, stand up comedy, burlesque, acrobatics and of course a few surprises thrown in too. Those in the know will be able to pass through Bunga’s Back Door, where guests will get their passport stamped before boarding their flight to embark on an experiential journey leading to a unique drinking and dining extravaganza promising to be anything but ordinary.

The experiential dinner and show follows the same structure across the evenings, but it is of course full of unexpected Bunga summer surprises and twists to add an exciting touch to each night. On Wednesdays, guests will strap in as they fly to a hot destination brimming with dancers and drag queens, slapstick fights and music from some of the biggest names in pop. Holiday reps will make sure guests are well-oiled with cocktails from the drinks menu, including the Plenty of Fish in Bunga fishbowl sharer cocktail; a delicious mixture of tropical fruit juices, blue curacao, and rum – and finished with candy fish – while actors will take to the floor to perform a variety of classic holiday mishaps.

Thursday and Friday evenings will provide guests another opportunity to fly Bunga Bunga airways, as they jet off to a distant land where games, karaoke and variety acts will take centre stage. Saturdays will feature a live music spectacular, featuring Bunga Bunga’s house band and dance troops and acrobats who will twirl their way around guests. Resembling nothing like what passengers are accustomed to, the in-flight meals will feature feasting menus full of Italian flair, with sharing starters including Mozzarella wrapped in Bresaola; Mixed-Leaf, Apple, Gorgonzola and Fig Salad, and fresh Tomato and Basil Bruschetta.

Mains will come in the form of Bunga Bunga’s metre-long pizzas, made with their own special slow-rising, homemade sourdough. Pizza on the menu include a classic Margarita, Giardino, a medley of fresh Tomatoes, Rocket, Mozzarella and Tomato sauce; Amore topped with Parma Ham, Rocket and Mozzarella and Filetto with Plum Tomatoes, Yellow Vine Tomatoes, fresh Basil, spicy Salami and Mozzarella. For dessert, what better way to end than it a shot of Bunga Bunga’s Limoncello. The weekend will bring a number of summertime spectacular surprises, including Bunga Bunga’s Matinee Brunch.

The well-loved two-course late morning spectacular features free-flowing Bellinis and Prosecco as well as two courses of delicioso Italian eats. Guests can choose from a selection of cured meats, warm brioche with strawberry jam and Nutella, a mini pastry mix, and a fresh fruit salad before going to town on Bunga Bunga’s metre-long pizzas. Inspired by breakfast greats, the pizzas include the almighty Breakfast Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce, Parma Ham, Rocket, Italian soft Eggs and Mozzarella along with the Englishman’s Breakfast with Italian Sausage, Sun-dried Tomatoes, Pancetta, Tomato sauce and Mozzarella.

Forget sneaky baggage charges, liquid restrictions and limited leg room as Bunga Bunga’s Summertime Spectacular promises an escape to the seaside with all the glitz, glamour, cocktails and finest cuisine no city break could match.
