TripAdvisor hit half a billion reviews, with an average 290 submissions a minute
TripAdvisor has announced that it has reached half a billion reviews and opinions on its website.
The travel planning and booking app and site receives on average 290 submissions every minute of every day.
The Park Plaza Hotel in Westminster, London is the most reviewed hotel in the UK, with over 15,000 submissions on TripAdvisor. The London Eye is the UK’s most reviewed attraction with over 57,000 opinions, and the Aqua Shard is the country’s most reviewed restaurant with more than 11,000 reviews.

In 2014, research conducted by Oxford Economics showed that TripAdvisor reviews helped to influence the world’s travel activity as well as encourage travellers to visit certain locations.
